As you may already know, BuyAutoParts.com is headquartered in San Diego, California. We are a great mix of car enthusiasts from all over San Diego County all working towards the goal of getting you the auto part you need at the best price. After a year of hard work accomplishing this in 2013, we get to begin the New Year here in San Diego by joining our fellow San Diegan car lovers at the 2014 San Diego International Auto Show. The show started on January 1st and lasts until January 5th 2014 and only costs $12 for adults. For our customers who are in San Diego or somewhere nearby this is a fun event to go to with friends and family and check out the newest car models, classic cars on display and custom vehicles that made the show room. **Children aged 7-12 admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult on Sunday, January 5, 2014. No E-ticket is necessary for children aged 12-under on Sunday, January 5, 2014.
There will be more than 400 new models on display this year at the San Diego Convention Center for this year’s show. Ford will be displaying several classic Ford Mustangs in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the iconic American muscle car. Some notable classic Mustangs on display include a 1965 Emberglo convertible, a 1973 Mach 1 and a 2004 40th anniversary edition GT coupe. Sunday is Ford Family day, children 12 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult. You can also obtain four free tickets at participating Ford dealerships across San Diego County.
Today the show runs from 10 AM to 9 PM and has a pretty interesting theme: Electric Car Day. Representatives from the local energy company, San Diego Gas & Electric (SDGE) will be on hand to provide interested electric car buyers with information on energy rates. There will be a number of electric vehicles on display and informational booths will be set up to provide details about state and federal tax credits for driving an electric vehicle. You can also ask law enforcement experts about rules for carpool lanes and the use of charging stations throughout the county.

San Diego has a strong military community and our auto show honors that. Toyota dealerships in the area are providing free tickets to active and retired military families at any of the 11 Toyota dealership locations in the county. Those interested are required to provide a valid military I.D.
Another key attraction is a 15,000 square foot exotics vault which will showcase vehicles from manufacturers like Bentley, Maserati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus and more. Fans will be able to experience some of the most sought after vehicles on the planet in person.
