This turbo is the same size as the OEM turbo which is an IHI VF39 RHF55 Turbo. It's an exact fit replacement for the OEM STI model turbo.

No, this is only for vehicles which were turbocharged from the factory. If you're looking to add a turbo to your vehicle, you would also need an exhaust manifold, all the intake components (including the intercooler and vacuum parts), likely some larger fuel injectors, and a custom tune to make it all work safely. This will also affect your vehicle's reliability, fuel economy and ability to pass any emissions testing.
