I'm replacing my stock holset turbo (it blew up) with this. How much boost are these turbos good for if I would turn it up.1

I have an early 04' Dodge 2500 diesel...I need the turbo with an actuator for this year....I see there is one with an actuator for an 05' model. It seems to me this one for the 05' would work with my 04' but everytime I see about the fitment it gives me the Stigan turbo without an actuator and does not offer one for my year model with an actuator.....please help me to know if this 05' will work with my 04 if I order it! I already purchased the one without and have already sent it back to you.....thanks for your help in clarifying!1

I see that you claim it is ready to install but one thing is stuck on my mind and i can't seem to find the answer anywhere in the description. For longevity of both the turbo and the diesel engine, the turbo needs to be balanced. Because if left unbalanced will prematurely fail and could cause a runaway engine. I was wondering if this unit is balanced and what type of balancing it had?1

This turbo (40-30106 AE) is a stock replacement that's going to fit and perform exactly the same as OEM, and is backed by the same one year, unlimited mileage warranty. If your truck is modified to the point where the stock turbo is blowing up, you should probably have it tuned professionally to keep it semi-reliable. This turbo (Stigan 847-1432, SKU 40-30106) only fits late 2004 or 2004.5 through 2009 models with the 5.9L "High Output" diesel. 2003 and early 2004 models like yours use a vacuum actuator, not an electronic actuator. If your truck has an electronic actuator, then you have a late 2004, not an early 2004.
