This compressor will have some oil inside to protect the part during shipping and the time it spends on our shelf, but you would need to drain it and add fresh oil prior to installation. If you can provide your vehicle information, we can look up the exact type and amount of oil and refrigerant required. Your vehicle should also have a label under the hood with that information as well.

Every 1997-2004 Mustang, regardless of engine option, requires 8.5oz of Pag-46 oil and 34oz of R134a refrigerant

First of all, we strongly advise getting this issue diagnosed by your mechanic before ordering any more parts. This compressor (60-01388) fits 2004 and 2005 F150 V8 with a 6-groove clutch pulley for a 6-rib serpentine belt. There's also a version with an 8-groove clutch pulley, so please verify which one your truck has before ordering! We have the 8-groove version available here:
