This gearbox (82-70032 BN/BX/ON/AN/R) is a stock replacement with the same steering ratio as OEM. We do have a brand new, quick-ratio version of the same gearbox; the part number is 82-70032 NQ.

We've only tested and verified this box to fit on models with factory manual steering, and cannot guarantee compatibility on vehicles with factory power steering.

We only carry stock-replacement manual steering gearboxes for vehicles that had manual steering from the factory; we cannot guarantee a manual gearbox will bolt up like a power gearbox, and you may also need to source the rag joint and pitman arm from a manual steering car as well. If you do decide to go further down this road, we advise using one of our brand new aftermarket gearboxes; it'll fit just like a remanufactured OEM gearbox, but it does not require a core deposit, which is helpful if your core doesn't match the item you're ordering. This gearbox fits just like OEM, so it'll fit either your original pitman arm or any other stock replacement. What exact vehicle do you have? We can check to see if we have a pitman arm available.

This gearbox (82-70032R and 82-70032AN) is a stock replacement, with the same 24:1 steering ratio as OEM. We have a quick ratio 16:1 version available here:

82-70032 has a 3/4" 36 spline input shaft. The input shaft is fully splined, meaning there is no flat spot on the circumfrence of the shaft. We have a coupler that matches it available here:
