No, Compressors typically do not include the rear head switch.   If your unit is good you can easily swap it over.  Remove the C clip on the compressor.   If your switch is bad, then we sell it separately.  Its part number 62-20016 and typically runs about $15 with the purchase of the compressor.  Give us a call to order.

That's the pressure switch for the optional automatic climate control system, which can be swapped over from your original compressor if so equipped.

On that generation of GM trucks and SUVs, some models have a pressure sensor on the rear head of the original compressor. If yours does, you would need to remove that sensor and swap it over to your new compressor. If you have any trouble with that, send us a direct email via the link below and we can send you a new sensor!

Thank you for your inquiry. Every compressor we sell will have some oil inside to protect the part during shipping and the time it spends on our shelf, but you would need to drain it and add fresh oil prior to installation. You need to 11 Oz. of PAG46 for Denso Type and or 11 Oz. of PAG150 if it is an OE Harrison type.  4 lbs. of R-134A refrigerant.
