Late 2004 pickups used engine code LLY, so it's important to verify which version your 2004 model year truck is equipped with. Check the 8th digit of your truck's VIN; 1 indicates LB7, 2 means LLY. Injector leaks are a common issue on the LB7 trucks, and the later LLY and LBZ engines have revisions that makes them both more reliable and easier to replace.
