This kit includes a fully remanufactured original equipment Stanadyne diesel injector pump including optical sensor,and electronic shut-off assembly. These are remanufactured in the USA - guaranteed highest quality available. Also included in this kit is the newest version of the upgraded brand new GREY PMD, resistor, a premium heatsink kit, mounting hardware and harness extension cable (cable not shown in photo). Our kit includes an approximately 12" long harness extension. This kit is designed to move the PMD ouside of the intake valley, onto the intake cover and away from the heat. With this kit, you may also mount the PMD on the pump if you prefer. Other seller's PMD kits are including very long cables for mounting the PMD outside of the engine compartment. It is our opinion (and that of our Stanadyne Rep) that may do more harm than good. The excessive length of the cable creates additional resistance and can lead to signal interference.
