Marketing Specialist

Our traditional WD group continues to serve wholesale accounts, while our internet site is a popular destination for retail customers, car enthusiasts and mechanics.

 

We are currently looking for EXTRAORDINARY entry-level candidates- energetic, motivated, team-players to join our Marketing team. Our ideal candidate will excel at internet marketing, product management, SEO, social media networks, and communication. The position requires self-motivation and willingness to learn. This is a great position for someone who already has marketing experience or a new graduate. We are willing to train and invest in the right candidates.

 

Qualifications:

-     College degree, Marketing majors preferred

-     Strong natural marketing skills

-     Experience in marketing (internships okay)

-     High degree of computer literacy

-     Attention to detail

-     Can function in a fast-paced environment

-     Ability to complete projects while being assigned new tasks daily

-     Task oriented and self-motivated

-     Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

-     Ability to recognize and adapt to market trends

-     Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

-     Ability to work well without a high level of direct supervision

-     Strong organizational skills and self-motivated

 

Preferred Skills:

-     E-commerce marketing knowledge (PPC, SEO)

-     Passion for the automotive industry, cars, and/or car parts a plus

-     Basic HTML or other computer knowledge

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

-     Managing social media (blogs, Twitter, Facebook, etc.)

-     Analysis of PPC campaigns. Finding opportunities to make improvements

-     Editing web pages (copy editing, image/product editing). Improving content

-     Search Engine Optimization

-     Web-based marketing campaigns and analysis such as email and affiliate marketing

-     Analysis of product performance. Ability to really create opportunities through analytics

-     Creating monthly reports and analyzing the data

-     Assist in the review and planning of website design updates

-     Marketing vendor relations and management

-     Research new revenue opportunities

-     More marketing tasks as assigned by supervisor

 

We offer a starting salary of $30-$40k (DOE) including bonuses and overtime opportunities.
