The Mercury Mariner is a compact crossover SUV manufactured between 2005 and 2010. Mercury, a brand of Ford Motor Company, was established in 1938 by Edsel Ford. Its headquarters were in Michigan, United States. The brand's first car, the Eight, was released in 1939. It had a flathead V8 engine. Vehicles such as the Turnpike Cruiser and Park Lane were introduced in the late 1950s. The Grand Marquis was the last model to roll off the assembly lines. Mercury was discontinued in 2011.
