The Oldsmobile Omega was a compact car marketed between 1973 and 1984. Oldsmobile was one of the oldest car brands in the world. It was founded by Ransom E. Olds in 1897 and purchased by General Motors in 1908. The company's headquarters were located in Lansing, Michigan. For more than 10 decades, Oldsmobile was a leader in the automotive industry. The Oldsmobile Omega was released in two generations as rebadged variants of Chevrolet models. These vehicles were built on the GM X platform.
