The Plymouth Caravelle is a mid-size car produced during the years 1983-1988. Vehicles under the Plymouth brand were produced by the American automaker, Chrysler Corporation. Its headquarters were in Auburn Hills, United States. Established in 1928, the first car, the 30U was launched in 1930. Plymouth's products are cars and minivans and its production was maximum in the year 1973. Well-known Plymouth cars include the Satellite, TC3 and the Sapporo. In 2001, production of the brand's cars was stopped. The last model of the Plymouth series was the second generation Neon.
The Plymouth Caravelle came in two trims: SE (1985-1988) and base (1986-1988). The vehicle featured a 3-speed automatic/5-speed manual transmission. It was available in 4-door sedan and 2-door coupe body styles. Sedans were built on the E-body platform and coupes were built on the K-body platform. The car was equipped with a 2.2L/2.5L/2.6L l4 engine.
