What is a Manifold Pressure Sensor
The manifold pressure sensor is a unit that is used to control the fuel delivery on most modern ECU controlled engines. These sensors came into use mainly on OBDII engines and are used to calculate the difference between the manifold pressure and the ambient air pressure. The sensor is used to determine the difference between the two and adjusts the fuel to compensate.
