Thank you for your inquiry. The clamps which hold the turbocharger together are usually referred to as V-band clamps.

This turbocharger is a direct 100% drop-in upgrade replacement for the turbocharger that came on your 1995-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse or 1995-1998 Eagle Talon.

This turbo (40-30001 GG) is a stock Garrett eplacement that's going to fit and perform exactly the same as OEM. What exact vehicle do you have? We have a lot of upgrade turbos available for DSMs, including the popular 16G upgrade from early EVOs, and we can check to see what we have that specifically fits yours.

This is only tested and guaranteed to fit as a stock replacement on vehicles that were turbocharged from the factory. Adding a turbo on would require a lot of custom work that, to be honest, might not be worth it over just trading your car in for one that's already turbocharged.
