Center to Center on the mounting holes is 16 inches.

This is a stock replacement power steering rack for models that had power steering from the factory, and any stock-replacement steering shaft for power steering models will work. If you're using this in a custom application (pretty common for the Pinto/Mustang II racks), you'll likely have to get a steering shaft custom made for your application.

This steering rack (80-00056) is 3 turns lock-to-lock, and it fits 1974-1978 Mustang II. This is the original TRW design, with 2 mounting points. There's also a version available with 3 mounting holes, available here:

This steering rack is a stock replacement, and all the fittings are the exact same size as OEM for a guaranteed exact fit.

It also fits as a replacement for earlier models with 3 mounting holes as well!
