No, Compressors typically do not include the rear head switch.   If your unit is good you can easily swap it over.  Remove the C clip on the compressor.   If your switch is bad, then we sell it separately.  Its part number 62-20016 and typically runs about $15 with the purchase of the compressor.  Give us a call to order.

I show the oil this compressor takes is PAG-150 as well not PAG-46. The part number you provided does not cross in our system. The closest OEM number I show is 01136519.  However, I only show one type of compressor for all models of your vehicle and 60-00894 would be it.

Are you referring to the suction and discharge ports on the compressor? Or the electrical plug for the clutch a pressure switch?

The compressor will have roughly an ounce or two of oil already in it. This will need to be drained so the correct amount can be put into the system. A 1997 Chevrolet Pick-up will need 8 Oz of PAG 150 oil.

All 1994-2000 Chevy and GMC Full-Size (including Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban and Pickup) require the following amounts:

Models with rear AC (second set of AC controls and vents for the back seat) - 11oz Pag-150 oil, 64oz R134a refrigerant

Models without rear AC - 8oz oil, 36oz freon

That's the pressure switch for the optional automatic climate control system, which can be swapped over from your original compressor if so equipped.

The plug on the rear head of the compressor is a pressure switch, that can be swapped over from your original compressor. We don't include it because many models don't have that rear head switch. You should be able to swap it over with a pair of snap ring pliers, or you can find a new switch relatively inexpensively as well. Apologies for the inconvenience!

On that generation of GM trucks and SUVs, some models have a pressure sensor on the rear head of the original compressor. If yours does, you would need to remove that sensor and swap it over to your new compressor.
