Edsel was an automobile brand headquartered in Michigan, United States. It was formed in the year 1957 as a division of the Ford Motor Company. The firm's product range included a range of station wagons and full-size cars. In 1957, the company started manufacturing the Ranger which was rolled out in two generations. In the same year, Edsel started producing the Corsair, which was available in hardtop, convertible, coupe and sedan body styles.

For the 1958 model year, a series of full-size cars such as the Citation and Pacer were available. The firm started producing the Villager, a 4-door station wagon, in 1958. In the same year, the brand manufactured the Roundup, a full-size car, which was equipped with a V8 engine. In this decade, despite their declining sales, Edsel's vehicles participated in NASCAR's Grand National series. The company finally became defunct in 1959. Some of the well-known models of the brand included the Bermuda and Ranger.
