The Volvo V50 is a compact executive car produced between 1995 and 2012. Established on 14 April, 1927 by Assar Gabrielsson and Gustav Larson, Volvo Cars is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Volvo's first car Jakob was released in the year 1926. In 1929, a six-cylinder PV651 was released and by 1931, more than 10,000 Volvos had been manufactured by the brand. In 1996 Volvo migrated from their distinctive square design to design the sleeker, more-rounded Volvo V70, S40 and V40.
