Isuzu's storied history stretches back to the turn of the 20th century. And since that time, the car brand has become one of the world's most desirable models to own. Today, it seems Isuzus are everywhere. But Isuzu parts online have only recently become easily obtainable, thanks to BuyAutoParts.com. Well before there were discount Isuzu parts available on a large scale, the first Isuzu cars were still in prototype mode.
Isuzu is a Japanese automobile manufacturer that was established in 1916 by Yoshishuke Alkawa. The company has its headquarters in Tokyo. The company was initially founded as the Tokyo Gas Company. Later, in 1934, the company merged with DAT Automobile Manufacturing Inc. to form Automobile Industries Co. Ltd. The company formally adopted the name Isuzu in 1949. In 1959, the N-series, a line of medium-duty trucks, was released. The Bellel, the brand's first passenger car, was rolled out in 1961. The Bellel was the first Isuzu car that demanded replacement parts on a wide scale. This was followed by the Bellet, a subcompact car, in 1963. The Florian, a compact 4-door sedan, was rolled out in 1967. Isuzu released the 117 Coupe, a passenger car, in 1968.
The Isuzu Forward, also known as the F-series, is a line of medium-duty commercial trucks that was first rolled out in 1970. In 1971, General Motors acquired a 34% stake in Isuzu, and the Gemini was the first car to be manufactured under the new partnership. In 1981, the brand began to sell automobiles under its own name.
The Isuzu Amigo, a mid-size SUV, was rolled out in 1989. In 1999, the brand released the Vehicross, a compact SUV that was highly regarded for its cross-terrain performance. And so began the online Isuzu parts boom from this point forward, Isuzu owners all across the globe could order the exact Isuzu part they wanted. The Ascender, a rebadged version of the GM Envoy, was released in 2003. Some popular models of the brand include the Rodeo, F-Series Truck, and Trooper. Later Isuzu models have taken the formerly small Isuzu parts demand to a whole other level.
