The Mercury Montego is an automobile produced from 1968 to 1976 and 2005 to 2007. Mercury was a marque of cars, formed in the year 1938 by Ford Motor Company. Its headquarters were in Michigan, United States. The 1960s saw the release of vehicles such as the S-55, Marauder and Cougar. The Capri, which was a captive import from Ford of Europe, was introduced in 1971. The Zephyr, a compact car, was unveiled in 1978. However, the brand's sales contributed to a very small percentage of the automobile market during the mid-2000s.
