The Nissan Juke is a mini SUV that was released in 2010. Nissan Motor Company, headquartered in Yokohoma, Japan, is a multinational automobile manufacturer. It was established in 1933 when the automobile division of the Tobata Casting Company, a subsidiary of the Nissan combine, was separated from its parent company. The popularity of the Datsun 510 sedan and 240Z sports car in 1968 and 1969, respectively, raised Nissan to world class status. In 2000, the Xterra, a sub-compact SUV was rolled out. The Armada, a full-size SUV was released in 2003.
The Nissan Juke was unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show in 2010. It is built on the Nissan B platform and comes in a 5-door SUV body style. It is equipped with a 1.5 L/1.6 L l6 or 3.8L V6 engine and has a 5-speed/6-speed manual or 6-speed automobile transmission. In 2013, the car was also released in two other models: the Juke Nismo which differed in the body styling and the Juke-R, a limited version. In 2011, the car was selected as one of the Top Safety Picks by the IIHS.
