This gearbox has a 20:1 ratio and replaces gearboxes with casting tag HCC-AT or HCC-AX.

Power-assist steering uses a manual steering gearbox. Integrated power steering, where the PS lines plug directly into the box, use a power steering gearbox. What year is your Mustang, and are there any casting numbers on your original gearbox we can try looking up in case there are multiple options available like there are for most 1960's Ford models?

It's hard for us to make promises for a sorta-custom application like this, but they do look like a match. The input shafts are the same length, mounting points appear identical (though we don't have exact measurements for those), and aside from the steering ratio, the vehicle compatibilities are identical.
