82-70071 R is a remanufactured gearbox, and it requires a $100 core deposit that is charged in addition to the purchase price, but is fully refundable if you can return your original gearbox. 82-70071 AN is a brand new gearbox that does not require any core deposit or return. Both of them will fit and perform the same, and they're backed by a one year, unlimited mileage warranty.

There's a few different options available here. Did your truck have power steering from the factory, or are you looking to convert from manual to power?
