This turbocharger (40-30086 WX) is the same size as OEM, which means it flows the same amount of air and makes similar power. The improvement is the billet compressor wheel and VNT vanes; in addition to the increase in durability, they're lighter so they also allow the turbo to spool up faster, meaning you get less turbo lag and better throttle response.
