This steering rack (80-00076) fits all E46-chassis BMW 3-Series, except for the M3 because it's a little wider. This is a replacement for the ZF rack with a 3.0 turn lock-to-lock steering ratio. These were also available with a TRW rack and a 3.25 LTL ratio; this ZF rack will fit either one, just keep in mind that your steering response will be a little quicker if you install this on a TRW-equipped model.
