This is a brand new steering rack and pinion assembly. 100% direct-fit, guaranteed to fit and perform exactly the same as OEM. Because this is a brand new item, it does not require any core deposit or return. Fully assembled with inner toe rod ends, boots and clamps. Outer tie rod ends are not included, but we strongly advise replacing them at the same time for better steering performance and reliability - plus, they need to come off anyway, so why put worn-out old parts back on? Fits 2016-2018 Kia Optima LX and EX, plus 2018 Optima S. This steering rack is for models with electric power steering, but the electric motor that provides assist is located on the steering column and is NOT part of this steering rack assembly
