This is a brand new power steering control valve for very early power-assist steering systems, where a ram cylinder and control valve are used to help turn a traditional manual steering gearbox. The power steering control valve directs hydraulic pressure when you turn the wheel left or right. When it's due for replacement, you would either notice a whining noise, a leak, or more effort than usual required when you turn the wheel at low speeds. This is a stock replacement that's going to fit and perform exactly the same as OEM, and is backed by a one year, unlimited mileage warranty. Fits 1960 Ford mid size, full size & Thunderbird
