This kit fits all 1999-2002 Silverado and Sierra with a gas V8 and a Delphi HU6 compressor. These trucks were also available with a Denso 10S20 compressor, so it's important to verify which version your truck has before you order.

This compressor will have some oil inside to protect the part during shipping and the time it spends on our shelf, but you would need to drain it and add fresh oil prior to installation. If you can provide your vehicle information, we can look up the exact type and amount of oil and refrigerant required.

If your truck has rear AC, you would have a second set of AC controls and vents for the back seats, so they could be warmer or cooler than the front seat passengers.

You'll have a hard time finding a replacement clutch on its own; most parts suppliers have stopped offerring those, in the interest of better long-term reliability and lower warranty claims. We've written an explainer here:

On that generation of GM trucks and SUVs, some models have a pressure sensor on the rear head of the original compressor. If yours does, you would need to remove that sensor and swap it over to your new compressor.
