This steering box has a ratio of 14:1 or 3.50 LTL.

This is only tested and guaranteed to fit on models that had manual steering from the factory. If you are converting from power to manual, you will also need a steering shaft, new steering rack bushings, and new outer tie rods, all from a manual-steering model. We don't have the exact dimensions of the input shaft available, but we have a complete manual steering swap kit available here:

This steering rack (80-00267) fits all 1980-1993 Ford Mustang models with power steering and the "Performance Steering" option. You may want to confirm this yourself, but I would assume that the SVO would include that option by default since it was supposed to have a more "European" feel than the V8 models.
