Does this compressor come already filled with refrigerant oil?1

iam looking for ac compressor w clutch 87 cougar 3.8 v6 single grove pully1

I have looked so many times to find my A/C Compressor and none are the one I have on my 1988 Mercury Cougar Lx V-6 5.0l engine. I have 2 pic of the one I need. Not sure how I can send a pic to you so you can find an A/C unit. I just purchased an A/C unit which I was told would fit. I sent it to the Mechanic and he said NO it will not fit. So I am stuck with a unit I will be able to use. I need an A/C unit Mich. in the summer time is very humid. please, help. The car is from California and is in perfect shape, no rust.1

The compressor comes with shipping oil but the oil must be emptied out to ensure moisture did not enter the compressor during transit. The oil levels can be found in your service manual. Just a reminder please make sure a new drier is installed when replacing the compressor, it is required for the warranty.

The 5.0L engine is a V8, not a V6; if yours has a V6, it is a 3.8L. Does your Mercury have factory or dealer-installed AC? If you keep getting incorrect compressors, we can also look up any OEM part numbers off your original compressor to see if they match anything we have available.
