It would depend on the motor size. Do you have the 2.0L or 2.5L motor?

Every compressor we sell will have some oil inside to protect the part during shipping and the time it spends on our shelf, but you would need to drain it and add fresh oil prior to installation. If you can provide your vehicle information, we can look up the exact type and amount of oil and refrigerant required. Your vehicle should also have a label under the hood with that information as well. We can also check to see if we have a complete AC kit for your vehicle; the kit would include the drier filter, oil and O-ring seals required for installation, and the warranty is extended to two years, rather than one year for the compressor by itself.

We do not have vehicle-specific installation videos available, but you might find something helpful on YouTube. Every compressor we sell will have some oil inside to protect the part during shipping and the time it spends on our shelf, but you would need to drain it and add fresh oil prior to installation. Just remove the plugs from the hose ports and you can drain and fill oil through the hose ports while turning the pulley by hand. Your 2010 Mazda3 GT requires 120ml/4.06oz of Pag-46 oil and 17oz/485g of R134a refrigerant.

Our kits include the oil, O-ring seals, expansion valve (not really required for installation, but it's relatively inexpensive and much easier to replace when the system is already drained) and drier filter. The drier needs to be replaced along with the compressor for your warranty to be valid. AC kits that include the oil, O-rings and drier filter along with the compressor have a two year warranty, versus one year for a compressor ordered by itself.
