This is a BuyAutoParts A/C Compressor (Note: New BuyAutoParts AC Compressor w/ Clutch). This A/C Compressor is guaranteed to fit your 1999 Chevrolet Silverado . SKU number 60-00970 NA This is a replacement for the Delphi HU6 AC Compressor. The A/C Clutch is pre-attached at the factory. On 1999-2002 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups with a gasoline V8, there are two versions of the compressor available; this, or the Denso 10S20 (see part number 60-01588 NA). DO I USE THE VIN # TO DETERMINE WHICH COMPRESSOR ON 1999 5.3L1

On that generation of GM trucks and SUVs, some models have a pressure sensor on the rear head of the original compressor. If yours does, you would need to remove that sensor and swap it over to your new compressor. If you have any trouble with that, send us a direct email via the link below and we can send you a new sensor!
