Lead QA Engineer

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Lead Engineer to join our IS department. This person will be accountable and responsible for leading the QA effort for the IS organization including the establishment of best practices and processes, management of QA and UAT environments and activities, creation of test cases, creation and management of KPIs, leadership of test case execution by local and offshored resources, and assessment of performance and quality of company’s software products against specified criteria and standards. The position will work on the entirety of the company’s applications, including new and in production.

Qualifications:

-     A Bachelor degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience is required

-     3+ years QA experience required

-     1+ years of QA leadership experience preferred

-     Experience in ASP.NET environment, with specific focus in C# and familiarity with Visual Studio

-     Experience testing HTML, JavaScript, CSS

-     Experience testing web sites in mobile environments is preferred

-     Experience in eCommerce or Web related QA activities

-     Experience with relational databases and Microsoft SQL preferred

-     Experience with development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum a plus

-     Effective communication skills with a demonstrated ability to adapt communication to software developers

-     Strong quantitative and analytical skills

-     Adept at problem solving, creative thinking and decision making
