The car's air conditioning system consists of a compressor, condenser, evaporator, expansion device and accumulator-drier. The Air Conditioning Condenser is located in front of the radiator. It has a series of tubes and fins around it. The AC compressor converts the refrigerant liquid into pressurized gas and sends it to the condenser. When the hot gas passes through the tubes and fins of the condenser, the heat is removed. The cool gas is then converted into liquid and circulated throughout the AC system.

The condenser is also used to collect the debris that the compressor lets out during its operation.
